The 2023 Scientific Day was organized by the French Society for Photobiology with the support of the GDR "Integrative Biology of CO2 capture" on January 24, 2023, at the FIAP in Paris. Two main topics were addressed: "Photo-induced processes in aquatic photosynthetic organisms" and "Ultra-fast spectroscopy in photobiology" (See the program). Nearly 90 participants engaged in numerous high-quality discussions.
2022
The French Society for Photodermatology, the French Society for Photobiology, and the Skin Oncology Group of the SFD organized an online meeting on February 2 and 3, 2022 (website, program). Various sessions covering a wide range of topics were offered, each viewed by approximately 80 people.
2021
A joint symposium between GDR Happy Bio, the SFPb, and the French-Speaking Society of Medical Photonics was held from November 24 to 26, 2021, in Toulouse. Over a hundred participants attended. The presentations mainly focused on plasmas, electric fields, and photodynamic therapy. One session was organized by the SFPb.

Photochemistry of biomolecules: theory and spectroscopy
-
Light perception and harvesting in photosynthetic organisms
-
Human photobiology in natural environments
-
Photomedicine (Links to the program and abstracts)
2017
The symposium "DNA repair, Repair Syndromes and Radiation Biology," sponsored by the SFPb, was organized on September 18, 2017, at the Curie Institute in Paris, in tribute to Ethel Moustacchi, who passed away on December 13, 2016. (See the announcement and program)
