Annual Days of the French Photobiology Society

The Annual Day of the French Photobiology Society will take place in Orsay at Université Paris-Saclay (Institut de Chimie Physique, Building 349, Magat Room) from Wednesday, November 25 in the afternoon to Friday, November 27, 2026 at noon.
These days aim to be as broad and representative as possible of the richness of French photobiology in studying the interactions between light and living organisms: theoretical and experimental aspects, from plant photosynthesis to marine photobiology, including spectroscopy of molecules of biological interest, as well as the effects of light on human health and its medical applications..
The event is dedicated to giving early-career researchers an opportunity to present their work and to fostering exchanges with guests from both the French and international scientific communities.
The program features four sessions, poster prize, including the presentation of the 2026 SFPb PhD Thesis Award and the Early-Career Researcher Award, as well as two Keynote addresses by ESP members, including Pal Selbo (President of the European Society for Photobiology and President of the Norwegian Society for Photobiology and Photomedicine). We will also have a presentation of PEPR LUMA facilities Ultrafast Platform.
Registration Fees (includes meals and coffee breaks):
Non-members: €250
SFPb members: €150
Early-career researchers / Non-tenured staff (students, postdocs): €100
The PEPR LUMA program will cover registration fees for the first 30 early-career applicants and sponsor a poster prize.

October 30: Deadline for oral presentation abstract submissions.
November 15: Deadline for poster submissions and registration.
